The latest menswear Spring-Summer 2016 collection from Burberry introduced authentic sartorial menswear mixed with unconventional elements. The collection was entitled Strait-Laced. You are going to see iconic trench coats, tailored slim fit suits, lightweight down jackets, light wool/silk trench coats, lace shirts, double-faced cashmere topcoats, cashmere knitted joggers, cashmere scarves, hand-painted Derby shoes, tassel loafers, square tortoiseshell sunglasses and beautiful bags with painted stripes. The color palette includes black, navy, charcoal, pale grey, brown, stone and white with accents of turquoise, red and mustard. Chief creative officer Christopher Bailey offered classic tailored essentials as well as unexpected fabric choices and sports-references, like lace shirts and jogger pants. All in all, it's traditional and formal, but with a nice poetry drop.
